West Lafayette - January 31, 2014 - Project Management Academy® (PMA) announced a 99.1% pass rate for PMP candidates attending its 4-day PMP Boot Camp in 2013. This figure is based on the number of students reporting exam failure under the PMA pass guarantee compared to the total number of attendees in 2013. This is the fourth straight year that PMA's student pass rate has exceeded 99%.
"We are thrilled that our training has helped so many people achieve their career goals," said John Smith, CEO of Project Management Academy. "We believe PMA provides the most comprehensive and up-to-date Project Management Professional® training available, and our statistics certainly back that up."
The PMP certification is the industry standard for project managers, and a "must have" in today's marketplace. According to the PMI Project Management Survey, Eighth Edition, PMP certification translates to higher salaries. The survey shows the average annual salary gap widening to $18,500 between project managers that have their PMP versus those that do not. In other words, PMP certificate holders earn approximately 20% more. "These survey results support what our students have been telling us for years - that PMP certification is the ultimate difference maker for today's project managers ," added Smith "This is apparent to anyone who has reviewed job postings for project managers recently, PMP certification is often a required credential."
