And if the answer is, \u201cbecause the CEO (or any high-ranking leader) said so,\u201d the project manager most likely is facing endless challenges trying to force something to come together that really has no proven purpose. On the other hand, if the answer is, \u201cbecause the work aligns with the business strategy in this way\u2026\u201d then the project manager will likely have fewer barriers and more success. At the core, an organizational strategy is the collection of <a href=\"https:\/\/smallbusiness.chron.com\/meaning-organizational-strategy-59427.html\">actions identified by top management to realize long-term goals<\/a>. The best way to think of the organizational strategy is as a road map. It captures <a href=\"https:\/\/bizfluent.com\/about-6689983-definition--organization-strategy-.html\">where you want the business to go and the activities needed to get there<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Organizational-strategy-to-project-strategy\">Organizational strategy to project strategy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Project managers should note that the \u201cactivities\u201d part of the organizational strategy is their key.
