West Lafayette - November 7, 2013 - Project Management Academy® (PMA®)
has expanded its course offerings to include a Strategic Risk Management course, which is offered in an online format.
"Managing risk is a fundamental part of project management, and unfortunately many large projects fail because project and program managers do not utilize the appropriate risk management methodologies," said John Smith, PMA's chief executive officer. "Our Strategic Risk Management course outlines comprehensive strategies for identifying, assessing and managing a wide variety of project risks, and is designed to teach project managers a hands-on approach to managing these risks."
Students can access the Strategic Risk Management course from PMA's website, and can complete the course at their own pace. Upon completing the course, students will receive 8 hours of professional development units (PDU). These hours count toward the 60 required professional development units to maintain good standing with Project Management Institute (PMI) for all project managers holding PMI's PMP certification.
