Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to apply for the PMI-CP exam, students must complete all 4 foundational course modules and have 3 years of on-the-job experience in construction projects or built environment projects (experience must have been within the past 10 years).

Do I need to renew the PMI-CP Certification?

PMI Construction Professional certification holders must have 30 PDUs every 3 years to maintain their certifications.

What happens if I fail the certification exam?

Candidates who do not pass on their initial attempt have two additional opportunities to retake the exam during their one-year eligibility window. Each retake requires paying an additional examination fee. While our course covers the domains included on the exam, students are encouraged to refer to the PMI-CP exam content outline when studying for the certification exam.
