(Boston, MA, August 8, 2018) Project Management Academy (PMA), a leading provider of learning and development solutions for project managers and their broader organizations recently added four new courses to its online PDU catalog. The four courses are: Emotional Intelligence, Leading Dispersed Teams, IT Security for Project Managers, and Introduction to Agile. Each program is approved for Project Management Institute PDU certification requirements.
The Emotional Intelligence course provides an overview of what emotional intelligence entails. Students will gain insight into the four dimensions of emotional intelligence (EQ) and learn strategies to improve EQ. The Introduction to Agile provides an overview of agile project management. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of the values and principles in the Agile manifesto, as well as the benefits of using agile practices. IT Security for Project Managers provides an overview of IT Security, how it influences organizations and why it is important for project risk management planning. And finally, Leading Dispersed Teams provides insight into what dispersed teams are, how they interact, what challenges they might face and strategies for overcoming those challenges.
The CEO of Project Management Academy, Jason Cassidy, commented: "We are excited to add these online courses to our portfolio of professional development programs. We strive to help project managers progress in their careers while making it easy for them to earn necessary PDU hours. We feel that the skills that these courses develop, will greatly help project managers to successfully complete more projects on time and on budget."
